RATT Signs With LOUD & PROUD RECORDS

March 20, 2009

Reactivated '80s rockers RATT have inked a deal with Loud & Proud Records, a Roadrunner Records imprint focusing on established artists. The band's new album, rumored to be titled "Ratt Comes Back" (although this has not yet been confirmed by the group),will be released later this year.

According to a posting on RATT singer Stephen Pearcy's MySpace page, he and RATT guitarist and Warren DeMartini have started writing material for the new CD and expect to hit the studio soon.

RATT drummer Bobby Blotzer last summer confirmed that former QUIET RIOT guitarist Carlos Cavazo has joined the group as the replacement for rhythm guitarist John Corabi (former MÖTLEY CRÜE singer).

Carlos played his first show with the band in Baton Rouge, Lousiana on August 27, 2008.

Fan-filmed video footage of RATT's August 28, 2008 performance at the House of Blues in New Orleans, Louisiana can be viewed below (clip uploaded by YouTube user "Pepskins").
